RAMALLAH, October 10, 2025, WAFA – The National Campaign for the Retrieval of Palestinian and Arab War Victims’ Corpses and the Disclosure of the Fate of the Missing said on Friday that the Israeli occupation authorities are withholding the bodies of 735 Palestinians in cemeteries of numbers and morgues.

It explained that the occupation authorities are withholding the bodies of 256 Palestinians in the cemeteries of numbers, 479 whose bodies have been withheld since the beginning of 2025, 86 who died in detention, 67 children, and 10 women.

It noted that the Israeli newspaper Haaretz published a report on July 16 stating that the Israeli army is withholding around 1,500 bodies of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip at the Sde Teiman detention facility.
