Gaza death toll surges to 67, 211, casualties to 169,961

GAZA, October 10, 2025 (WAFA) - The death toll from the Israeli genocidal aggression on the Gaza Strip on Friday surged to 67,211 civilians, according to medical sources.

They said that the total death toll in the Gaza Strip climbed to 67,211, mostly women and children, and the casualties to 169,961 since the onset of the genocidal aggression on the Strip on October 7, 2023.

They added that in the last 24 hours, the bodies of 17 slain Palestinians and 71 casualties were admitted to Gaza hospitals.

They pointed out that in the last 24 hours, five displaced people who were injured while attempting to receive humanitarian aid were admitted to hospitals in the enclave, bringing the total number of aid seekers killed and injured since the onset of the aggression to 2,615 and 19,182, respectively.

Israel unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement and resumed its aggression on the Strip on Tuesday, March 18, carrying out a wave of bloody airstrikes that killed 13,598 Palestinians and injured 57,849 others.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
