RAMALLAH, October 10, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces closed the main entrance to the village of Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah, on Friday, causing major disruptions to residents’ movement.
Local sources reported that soldiers blocked the village’s main access road, forcing vehicles to take long and difficult alternative routes.
The closure followed a morning incursion by Israeli colonists into the outskirts of the village, further heightening tensions in the area.
Road closures, military checkpoints, and movement restrictions form part of a broader system of control imposed by Israeli forces on Palestinian communities across the occupied West Bank, effectively isolating villages and disrupting daily life.
