NABLUS, October 10, 2025 (WAFA) – Three Palestinians were injured on Friday morning after being physically assaulted by Israeli colonists, and others suffered from tear gas inhalation, during an attack on olive harvesters in the town of Beita, south of Nablus.

Palestinian security sources told WAFA that a group of Israeli colonists attacked Palestinian civilians while they were picking olives in the Jabal Qamas area of Beita, an area frequently targeted by colonial violence.

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, its crews treated three people who were beaten by the colonists, including two elderly men aged 65 and a 33-year-old man.

Israeli occupation forces later stormed the area, firing sound bombs and tear gas canisters at the Palestinian farmers, leading to further cases of suffocation due to tear gas.

The olive harvest season is a vital time for Palestinian farmers, both economically and culturally. Each year, it is marred by a spike in attacks by Israeli colonists, who frequently vandalize olive trees, steal harvests, and assault farmers—often under the protection or watch of Israeli forces.
