GAZA, October 8, 2025 (WAFA) – The Arab Red Crescent and Red Cross Organization (ARCO) called for an immediate ceasefire and the protection of civilians in the Gaza Strip.

In a statement, the organization warned of the grave violations of international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions by the Israeli authorities, as they continue their inhumane actions by targeting residential neighborhoods, medical and relief facilities, obstructing aid, and starving civilians.

ARCO also called on international community organizations to conduct independent investigations and hold accountable and punish perpetrators of war crimes, crimes against humanity, and incitement to genocide in the Gaza Strip.

It also called for redress for victims, the opening of sustainable and safe humanitarian corridors, the removal of administrative and practical obstacles to the delivery of humanitarian aid, and the protection of medical and relief facilities.
