RAMALLAH, October 8, 2025 (WAFA) – The International Committee to Break the Siege on Gaza announced Wednesday morning that the Freedom Flotilla heading to the Gaza Strip was attacked by Israeli occupation forces.

The committee said in a post on X that "the Israeli army attacked the Freedom Flotilla in international waters, 120 nautical miles (220 km) from Gaza."

The Freedom Flotilla, consisting of 11 ships, had set sail from Italy a few days earlier.

A few days earlier, Israeli forces attacked the Global Steadfastness Flotilla as it sailed toward Gaza and arrested hundreds of activists on board, before releasing most of them.
