RAMALLAH, October 7, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained at least 10 citizens on Tuesday during a large-scale raid in the city of al-Bireh and the Jalazoun refugee camp, north of Ramallah.

Security sources told WAFA correspondent that IOF raided several neighborhoods in al-Bireh, including al-Balou', the industrial zone, al-Masyoun, Umm al-Sharait, and Jabal al-Tawil, along with al-Amari refugee camp south of Ramallah, al-Jalazoun refugee camp to the north, and the town of Kafr Ni'ma to the west.

The same sources added that IOF turned al-Omari Mosque in al-Bireh into a field investigation center and detained several people from the city's neighborhoods.

Meanwhile, from Jalazone refugee camp, the IOF also detained some residents.

The occupation forces raided the town of Kafr Ni'ma, west of Ramallah, and the vicinity of al-Am'ari refugee camp to the south.
