GAZA, October 5, 2025 (WAFA) – Six Palestinians were killed and others injured since dawn Sunday due to Israeli gunfire and airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, despite Israeli claims of reducing its bombardment.
Medical sources at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis reported that four of those killed were civilians waiting for aid near distribution centers northwest of Rafah.
In the northern Gaza Strip, one man was killed in Israeli shelling targeting Gaza City. Others were injured after strikes hit the upper floors of several residential buildings on Al-Thalathini Street in the Sabra neighborhood.
In central Gaza, one man was killed and others injured by Israeli fire near an aid distribution center around the Netzarim junction.
Meanwhile, a source at the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City confirmed the recovery of the body of a child killed in an airstrike on a home in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City yesterday.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 67,074 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 169,430 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
