GAZA, October 3, 2025 (WAFA) – At least 38 Palestinians were killed by Israeli airstrikes and gunfire targeting several areas of the Gaza Strip since early Friday, according to medical sources.
Hospitals reported receiving the bodies of the victims: 16 at Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital, 12 at Nasser Hospital, eight at Al-Shifa Medical Complex, and two at Al-Awda Hospital.
Meantime, WAFA correspondent reported that seven people were killed in Israeli shelling of the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis, while three others were killed when their vehicle was targeted in the same area.
In Gaza City, two people were killed and others wounded when Israeli forces struck a group of civilians in Al-Maghribi Street in Al-Sabra neighborhood, while another person was killed in an attack on the Al-Ansar area in the west of the city.
Rescue teams also recovered two bodies from under the rubble of Al-Falah School in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, which had been bombed by Israel five days ago. The teams came under Israeli fire while carrying out the recovery.
Simultaneously, dozens of civilians, most of them children, were wounded — some critically — in another Israeli attack on a gathering near Omar Al-Mukhtar Street in Gaza's Old City.
