GAZA, October 3, 2025 (WAFA) — Twenty-eight Palestinians have been killed since early Friday morning as Israeli occupation forces continued their airstrikes and shelling across the Gaza Strip, according to local sources.
Medical sources reported that 14 bodies were brought to the Baptist hospital, 10 to the Nasser hospital, and four to Al-Shifa and Al-Awda hospitals.
According to WAFA correspondent, three people were killed when an Israeli strike targeted a vehicle in al-Mawasi, Khan Younis, in southern Gaza.
Additional casualties were reported in the al-Sabra neighborhood of southern Gaza City, where Israeli forces hit a group of civilians on Al-Maghrabi Street, and in the Ansar area west of the city.
Rescue teams also recovered the bodies of two Palestinians from under the rubble of Al-Falah School in the al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, which had been struck by Israeli fire five days ago. During the rescue operation, teams were reportedly targeted by Israeli forces.
Simultaneously, numerous civilians, mostly children, were injured—some critically—in Israeli attacks near Omar Al-Mukhtar Street in the Old City of eastern Gaza City.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 62,622 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 168,938 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
