GAZA, October 1, 2025 (WAFA) – Several Palestinian civilians have been killed and wounded since Wednesday morning in Israeli airstrikes and gunfire across the Gaza Strip, medical sources said.

Six Palestinians were killed and others were wounded in the Israeli shelling of the Al-Falah School, which houses displaced persons in the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

Meanwhile, one civilian was killed and others were wounded as Israeli fighter jets that targeted the Al-Nafaq area, northeast of Gaza City.Two more people were killed in Israeli airstrike on Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City.

Numerous causalities were reported when an Israeli drone struck a gathering of people in the Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City, which has witnessed violent and continuous shelling for about a week, leaving dozens dead and wounded.

In central Gaza, two people were killed and six others were wounded when the Israeli army shelled a house in the Al-Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. Another civilian was shot dead while waiting for aid near a distribution center in the southern Gaza Strip.

Medical sources announced the deaths of 23 Palestinians by Israeli occupation forces since dawn today, including 19 in Gaza City.
