RAMALLAH, September 30, 2025 (WAFA) – Vice President Hussein Al-Sheikh welcomed the sincere efforts of US President Donald Trump to end the war.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Al-Sheikh expressed his confidence in President Trump's ability to find a path to peace.

He also renewed the joint commitment with the United States and all partners to end the war and reach a comprehensive agreement and just peace based on the two-state solution.

Al-Sheikh stressed the need for constructive and positive engagement to reach an agreement and ensure its implementation, in a way that achieves security, stability, and peace for the peoples of the region. He pointed out that all efforts must now be directed towards stopping the war, killing, destruction, and starvation.
