BERUIT, September 29, 2025 (WAFA) – A Lebanese civilian was killed and two others were injured on Monday in two separate Israeli airstrikes targeting areas in the western Bekaa and southern Lebanon, amid renewed and ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement.
According to the Lebanese National News Agency, an Israeli airstrike targeted the town of Sahmar in the Bekaa region, hitting an excavator in the Shamsa area and killing its driver.
In south Lebanon, two more civilians were injured in an Israeli drone strike on the main road in the town of Aitaroun.
The agency reported that Israeli drones continuously flew at low altitude over the towns of Ghassaniya, Kawthariyat al-Siyad, and Khartoum, raising concerns among residents.
