GAZA, September 28, 2025 (WAFA) – Medical sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces have been besieging Al-Helou International Hospital in Gaza City since yesterday evening, targeting it with a barrage of artillery shells, despite the presence of dozens of patients and displaced persons inside.

The medical sources explained that the occupation forces are besieging the hospital from all sides, with tanks approaching its perimeter. Medical staff and patients have been gathered on the lower floors, preventing access to or exit from the hospital.

It is worth noting that the hospital includes several departments, including a cancer unit, in addition to a nursery housing 12 premature babies.

More than 90 people, including medical staff and patients, are trapped inside the hospital, amid a complete disruption of communications and the internet.
