GAZA, September 28, 2025 (WAFA) – A number of citizens were injured by Israeli occupation forces' fire on Sunday evening in Gaza City and the central Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondent reported that several citizens were injured in the Al-Rimal neighborhood, west of Gaza City, while three others, including a child, were injured when the occupation forces targeted civilians as they were fleeing through Rashid Street, west of the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

They were transferred to Al-Awda Hospital.

In the same context, the vicinity of Al-Shifa Hospital witnessed heavy shelling by the occupation forces, while warplanes targeted a residential building in Al-Rayes neighborhood in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City, and buildings near Al-Yazji Bakery on Al-Nasr Street in the city.

On October 7, 2023, the occupation forces launched an offensive on the Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of 66,005 citizens, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of 168,162 others.

The death toll is not final, as a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, and ambulance and rescue crews are unable to reach them.
