Gaza, September 28, 2025 (WAFA) – Medical sources reported that the death toll in the Gaza Strip since midnight until 5 p.m. today has reached 41 Palestinians as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression.

According to the sources, the casualties were distributed across hospitals in Gaza as follows: eight at Al-Shifa Hospital, six at the Baptist Hospital, 18 at Al-Awda Hospital, five at Al-Aqsa Hospital, and four at Nasser Hospital.

The Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis also reported receiving six bodies and several wounded after Israeli forces opened fire on groups of citizens near aid distribution points south of the city.

In a related development, an Israeli army spokesperson threatened to strike Mecca Tower near the Abu Mazen junction, along Beirut Street in western Gaza, claiming the building or its surroundings contained “terrorist infrastructure.” Residents of Gaza City, particularly in the Al-Rimal, Al-Sabra, and port areas, as well as neighborhoods surrounding the tower and nearby tents along Beirut Street, were ordered to evacuate as soon as possible.

The death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 66,005, the majority of whom were women and children, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression in October 2023. At least 168,162 others have also been injured.

At least 79 Palestinians were killed and 379 others injured in the Gaza Strip over the last 24 hours as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Strip.
