Palestinians injured as they expelled colonists during raid attempt near Ramallah

RAMALLAB, September 28, 2025 (WAFA) – Young men from the village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, expelled a group of colonists on Sunday after they attempted to storm the village's lands and attack citizens' property.

This led to confrontations that resulted in several residents suffering from suffocation from tear gas and poison gas.

Local sources reported to WAFA that violent confrontations erupted on the outskirts of the village after young men confronted the colonists, who arrived under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.

The soldiers fired live and rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas canisters at the residents.

The sources added that approximately 15 colonists are currently present at the Khalatah intersection, west of the village, attempting to block the road to traffic. Residents are urged to be vigilant and fully prepared to confront the attack and open the road.

It is noteworthy that the village of Al-Mughayyir is frequently subjected to attacks by colonists residing in the surrounding settlement outposts, which have previously resulted in the killing and injury of a number of villagers, in addition to widespread destruction of agricultural lands.
