JERUSALEM, September 28, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Sunday morning attacked a Bedouin community near the town of Makhmas, located northeast of occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources reported that the colonists raided the Khillat al-Sidra community east of the town, blocking the only access road and cutting electricity lines, leaving the residents without power.
According to the Wall and Settlement Commission, settler attacks have displaced over 30 Bedouin communities, comprising 323 families, forcing them to relocate. The most recent displacement involved the Maghyer al-Deir community, east of Ramallah, which consists of 25 families totaling 124 individuals.
Since the beginning of this year, colonists have carried out nearly 1,200 attacks, with 38 percent targeting Bedouin communities in the Jordan Valley region, east of the occupied West Bank.
