RAMALLAH, September 27, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian child was injured on Saturday evening after being severely beaten by Israeli colonists near the town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah.
Palestinian security sources told WAFA that the colonists attacked a Bedouin community near Beitunia and brutally assaulted the child until he lost consciousness. He was later transferred to hospital for treatment.
Colonist violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank has sharply increased in recent years, with assaults ranging from physical attacks and harassment to arson and property damage.
Human rights organizations have repeatedly documented that such incidents often take place under the protection of Israeli forces, leaving Palestinian communities vulnerable.
According to the United Nations, thousands of colonist attacks have been recorded over the past decade, with a marked escalation since October 2023. These attacks have targeted farmers, families in rural areas, and entire communities, contributing to forced displacement and the destruction of livelihoods.
