HEBRON, September 27, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian youth was shot and dozens of others suffered from tear gas inhalation on Saturday following Israeli military raids into the towns of Bani Na'im, east of Hebron, and Beit Ummar to the north.
WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli forces stormed Bani Na'im, sparking confrontations in the center of the town. Troops opened fire at residents, injuring a 30-year-old man with live bullets in the hand.
In the nearby town of Beit Ummar, Israeli soldiers raided the Beit Za'ta neighborhood, where confrontations broke out. They fired tear gas and stun grenades, causing many residents to suffer from suffocation.
Israeli forces also stormed the Jabal al-Rahma and Karantina neighborhoods in Hebron city, where they set up two military checkpoints, searched vehicles, checked residents' IDs, and obstructed their movement.
Meanwhile, Israeli colonists attacked residents in the al-Rahwa area in the town of al-Dhahiriya, southwest of Hebron, and vandalized Palestinian property in the nearby village of al-Fakhit in Masafer Yatta.
In addition, Israeli bulldozers closed several secondary roads in Hebron governorate, further restricting Palestinian traffic in the region.
