Israeli forces injure Palestinian youth, assault medics in Hebron district

HEBRON, September 27, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian youth was injured by live bullets and dozens of others suffered suffocation on Saturday as Israeli forces clashed with residents in Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron.

Israeli occupation forces also arrested a young man from the town of Beit Awwa, southwest of Hebron, and assaulted paramedics in the town of Halhul, north of Hebron.

WAFA correspondent reported that clashes erupted in Al-Arroub refugee camp, during which Israeli occupation forces fired live and rubber-coated metal bullets, sound bombs, and tear gas at civilians. This resulted in a boy being lightly injured in his lower extremities with live bullets, and dozens of civilians suffered suffocation from tear gas inhalation and were treated on the spot.

Israeli occupation forces also raided the town of Beit Awwa, southwest of Hebron, and arrested Ahmed Muhammad Masalma after searching his home and ransacking its contents.

Occupation forces severely assaulted the Abdul Khaliq ambulance crew, Hamouda Allan and Salah Zamaareh, near the Halhul Bridge north of Hebron, causing them bruises.

Occupation forces set up several military checkpoints at the entrances to Hebron and its towns, villages, and refugee camps, and closed several main and side roads with iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds.
