GAZA, September 26, 2025 (WAFA) – A number of Palestinians were killed, others wounded, and dozens remain missing after Israeli warplanes bombed multiple refugee camps in the Gaza Strip early Friday, according to local sources.
A medical source at al-Awda Hospital confirmed several fatalities and injuries following Israeli strikes on refugee camps in central Gaza, as well as on groups of civilians near the Netzarim Corridor in central Gaza.
Meantime, in the al-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City, Israeli warplanes leveled several homes with residents still inside, leaving multiple casualties and many missing under the rubble.
Search and rescue efforts were ongoing as civil defense teams worked under extremely difficult conditions to locate the missing.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 65,502 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 167,367 others injured.
