Death toll in Gaza reaches 48 since dawn Thursday

GAZA, September 25, 2025 (WAFA) – The death toll in the Gaza Strip from the unrelenting genocidal Israeli aggression has reached 48 since dawn Thursday, according to medical sources.

They said that 48 Palestinian civilians were killed in different parts of the war-battered Strip since the early morning hours of Thursday.

They added that the bodies of 11 slain civilians were admitted to Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunes, the bodies of 19 others to Al-Aqsa Hospital, the bodies of six others to Al-Awda Hospital, the bodies of two others to Arab Ahli Hospital, and the bodies of 10 others to Al-Shifa Hospital.

Israel unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement and resumed its aggression on the Strip on Tuesday, March 18, carrying out a wave of bloody airstrikes across the Strip and killing at least 12,939 with 55,335 others wounded, according to medical sources.

Israel has waged a military onslaught on the Strip since October 2023, killing 65,502 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 167,376 others.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
