HEBRON, September 22, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained a Palestinian citizen from Masafer Yatta on Monday, while colonists also set fire to a vehicle and set up a tent in the Hebron district.

Anti-settlement activist Osama Makhamreh told WAFA that IOF stormed the village of Khallet al-Dabaa in Masafer Yatta and arrested Suleiman al-Dabbaseh after raiding and searching his home.

Local sources told WAFA that heavily armed colonists from the Khafat Gal colony, built on Palestinian lands and property east of Hebron, set fire to a vehicle belonging to Obeida Abdul Hadi Issa Dris, and fled.

Colonists also set up a tent on Palestinian lands east of the Igween area in the town of As-Samu, south of Hebron.

The occupation forces also detained a number of citizens at Al-Mukhtar Roundabout, near Tariq Bin Ziyad School in the southern part of Hebron, and forced them to stop their vehicles on the roads, blocking them and preventing citizens from crossing. The forces also seized the keys.
