GAZA, September 21, 2025 (WAFA) – The number of Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since Saturday-Sunday midnight has risen to 31, medical sources confirmed this morning.
According to hospital records, 26 bodies were transferred to Al-Shifa Medical Complex, two to Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital, one to Al-Awda Hospital, and three to Nasser Medical Complex.
The fatalities come as Israeli attacks continue across various areas of the Gaza Strip, with the neighborhoods of Gaza City sustaining the heaviest strikes since dawn.
Since Israel launched its war on Gaza in October 2023, over 65,200 Palestinians—the majority of them children and women—have been killed, with more than 166,200 injured, according to local health authorities. Thousands are also feared missing under the rubble.
Israel's genocidal onslaught continues unabated despite calls from the United Nations Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and address the deteriorated humanitarian situation in Gaza.
