Health Ministry launches 8th round of ‘Our Blood is One’ campaign to support Gaza’s wounded and sick

RAMALLAH, September 20, 2025 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Saturday the launch of the eighth round of the “Damuna Wahed” (Our Blood is One) campaign, aimed at collecting blood donations in support of the wounded and sick in the Gaza Strip, where humanitarian and health conditions continue to deteriorate due to ongoing Israeli aggression.

In a press statement, the ministry said the campaign will begin on Sunday and cover all governorates of the occupied West Bank through blood banks at public hospitals, the central blood bank, and a mobile blood donation unit. The drive will continue until the end of the month.

Minister of Health, Majed Abu Ramadan, said the initiative comes as part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to meet urgent and growing health needs in Gaza, where Israeli authorities continue to block the entry of medicines and medical supplies.

He urged citizens across all governorates of the West Bank to head to hospital blood banks, the central blood bank, and the mobile donation unit to contribute to the campaign and support patients and the wounded in Gaza.
