JENIN, September 19, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces violently assaulted a Palestinian journalist and a doctor early Friday morning during a raid in the town of Arraba, south of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank.

WAFA correspondent reported that journalist Ahmad Zaki Al-Eredi and physician Nidal Al-Arda were both severely beaten after Israeli forces stormed and searched their homes.

The Palestinian Red Crescent transferred both men to a hospital for treatment after they sustained multiple bruises from the assault.

Dr. Al-Arda said that Israeli soldiers blew up the front door of his home during the raid and dragged him from the second floor in a brutal manner, beating him on the chest and head and causing him multiple contusions.

Violence and harassment by Israeli occupation forces are commonplace during nightly raids across the occupied West Bank, often targeting civilians, including members of the press and medical professionals.
