GAZA, September 18, 2025 (WAFA) – At least 15 Palestinians were killed and several others wounded on Thursday evening as Israeli warplanes continued their intense bombardment of Gaza City, targeting multiple residential neighborhoods.
WAFA correspondent reported that two civilians were killed in an airstrike that targeted a group of people in the Al-Nasr neighborhood. Earlier in the day, a man was killed in a drone strike on Al-Remal, west of the city, while two others were killed in separate airstrikes on northern Gaza.
Three more Palestinians were killed in a strike targeting a group near the port gate in western Gaza City.
Additionally, nine Palestinians were killed in combined air and artillery shelling in the eastern parts of Al-Tuffah neighborhood and near Al-Muqawasi Towers in eastern Gaza City.
Another civilian was killed when Israeli warplanes bombed Al-Shati refugee camp in the west of the city.
In the south of the Gaza Strip, several Palestinians were injured when Israeli forces opened fire on displaced people sheltering in tents in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 65,141 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 165,925 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
