President Abbas meets Saudi Crown Prince and Qatari Emir in Doha

DOHA, September 15, 2025 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas held separate meetings on Monday in Doha with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, and with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on the sidelines of the emergency Arab-Islamic summit convened to discuss the Israeli attack on the State of Qatar.

During his meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, President Abbas briefed him on the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian Territory and the region, as well as on the Palestinian and Arab efforts aimed at halting the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Jerusalem, and ensuring the full and immediate withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza. The two leaders also discussed the brotherly Palestinian-Saudi relations and ways to strengthen them across all fields.

Meanwhile, during his meeting with Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, President Abbas briefed him on the latest developments in the Palestinian situation and the efforts to stop the ongoing Israeli aggression, particularly the genocidal war being waged in the Gaza Strip by the Israeli war machine.

The two leaders also discussed issues of mutual concern and ways to further support and enhance the bilateral relations between their two brotherly countries.

President Abbas also met with his Syrian counterpart, Ahmad al-Sharaa, and discussed similar issues, including the ongoing Israeli aggression, the urgent need to expedite the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, and ways to enhance bilateral relations.
