Israeli forces detain 15 Palestinians in widespread raids across West Bank

HEBRON, September 14, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained at least 15 Palestinians, including two women and a university student, during a series of raids across the occupied West Bank over the last few hours, according to local and security sources.

In Hebron, Israeli troops stormed multiple neighborhoods, detaining three Palestinians. The forces also raided the campuses of Hebron University and Palestine Polytechnic University, where several students and professors were temporarily held and interrogated inside the university grounds.

In the town of Sa'ir, northeast of Hebron, Israeli forces detained a female university student, identified as Aysha Mousa Al-Halayqah, after raiding her home and searching several others in the area.

Meanwhile, in Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron, two Palestinians were detained during a separate raid.

In the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, soldiers raided the Safa area, stormed several homes, and detained a 26-year-old university student after conducting thorough searches and causing damage to property.

In Nablus, five Palestinians were detained during predawn raids on the villages of Beit Furik, Madama, Burin, and Asira al-Qibliya. Eyewitnesses reported that troops ransacked homes and interrogated residents during the operations.

In Qalqilya, Israeli forces detained a Palestinian man, Imad Alama, and his son, Ziad, after storming their home in the town of Azzun, east of the city. The raid included the deployment of military vehicles and soldiers in the neighborhoods of the town, where further house searches were carried out.
