JENIN, September 11, 2025, (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained, at dawn on Thursday, four people from Silat al-Dhahr, including the mayor, two from Kafr Dan, and one from Jaba', in Jenin governorate.

Local sources said that IOF stormed the town of Silat al-Dhahr, south of Jenin, and detained mayor, Abdul Fattah Abu Ali, and several other people after raiding several homes.

They also deployed infantry units in the streets of the town.

The sources indicated that IOF stormed the town of Jaba', south of the city, and arrested Zaid Kanaan.

They also stormed the town of Kafr Dan, west of Jenin, deployed their vehicles in the streets, searched citizens' vehicles, raided several homes, and detained Yamen Mar'i and Mohammad Azzam Mar'i.
