NABLUS, September 8, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Monday evening attacked Palestinian-licensed vehicles at the Za'tara junction, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to local sources.
They said that colonists hurled stones at passing vehicles at the junction, which separates the northern West Bank from the southern West Bank, causing damage to some of them.
Earlier, colonists attacked Palestinian-registered vehicles close to the Yitzhar colony, south of Nablus, smashing the windshields of some of them.
Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.
Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.
