GAZA, September 5, 2025 (WAFA) – At least 18 Palestinians, including seven children, were killed last night in Israeli airstrikes targeting homes and tents sheltering displaced people across Gaza City, according to medical sources.
In one of the strikes, three civilians were killed and seven others injured when Israeli warplanes bombed an apartment on Souq al-Yarmouk Street in the al-Daraj neighborhood.
Another three Palestinians were killed and several others wounded after Israeli fighter jets struck a tent sheltering displaced families inside the Islamic University in al-Rimal al-Janoubi neighborhood, west of Gaza City.
In Tel al-Hawa, southwest of the city, three people were killed and others injured when a residential apartment was hit.
Two Palestinians were also killed and others injured when an Israeli drone targeted a displacement tent near al-Nour Mosque in the al-Rimal neighborhood.
In the al-Sabra district, two more were killed and others injured in an airstrike on an apartment in the Skeek building along al-Thalathini Street, south of Gaza City.
Additionally, two Palestinians were killed and several others injured after a drone strike hit a tent for displaced families near al-Azhar University junction, west of the city. Another person was killed and others wounded when Israeli warplanes bombed an apartment in the al-Rimal neighborhood.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 64,231 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 161,583 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
