GAZA, September 4, 2025 (WAFA) – At least 10 Palestinians were killed on Thursday afternoon and evening in Israeli airstrikes and gunfire targeting several areas across the Gaza Strip, according to medical sources and WAFA correspondents.

Three people were killed when an Israeli strike hit a home near Al-Falah School in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City. Four more, including children, were killed when Israeli forces bombed a vehicle near Al-Tayaran junction in the west of the city.

Several others were reported killed in an airstrike that targeted a group of people near Al-Dhafer Tower in the Al-Saraya area of Gaza City. Meanwhile, a woman was shot dead by an Israeli drone in the Al-Baraka neighborhood of Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza.

Meantime, journalist Bilal Al-Nabih was injured by Israeli gunfire while covering the ongoing bombardment and house demolitions in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

Israeli forces also blew up and destroyed the University College of Science and Technology in the Qizan Al-Najjar area, south of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

Medical sources confirmed that the total number of Palestinians killed by Israeli strikes and gunfire across the Gaza Strip since early Thursday has risen to 78.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 64,231 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 161,583 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
