RAMALLAH, August 26, 2025 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs revealed in a report on Tuesday, following a visit from its lawyers, the critical medical health condition of two prisoners held in Israel’s Megiddo prison.
Adam Abu al-Hassan, 21, from Beit Ur al-Tahta, Ramallah, who suffers from leukemia and takes daily medication. He had suffered from severe diarrhea for a full year, leading to a severe vitamin deficiency, resulting in a weight loss of approximately 25 kilograms.
It should be noted that Abu al-Hassan has been detained since May 20, 2024, and remains in detention.
Meanwhile, Habib Allah Sabatin, 17 , from Husan, Bethlehem, who is under administrative detention, suffers from sinusitis and is in dire need of a special inhaler. He also suffered from sciatica, from which he recovered, but the disease recurred and he requires treatment. He also suffers from toothaches due to a broken brace.
The prisoner Muhammad Hamdan, 17, from the town of Qaffin/Tulkarm, who was arrested on 1/29/2025 and is still detained, was also visited. He is in good health and his health condition is stable.
