Israeli occupation forces demolish commercial facilities south of Hebron

HEBRON, August 18, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces demolished several commercial facilities on Monday in the Anab al-Kabira area near the town of Ar-Ramadin, south of Adh Dhahiriya, south of Hebron.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli occupation forces stormed the area, accompanied by heavy machinery and military bulldozers, and demolished commercial facilities owned by the Raba'a family.

He pointed out that Israeli occupation forces closed the road leading to the demolished facilities and fired tear gas canisters at residents in the area, causing suffocation cases that were treated in the field.

They also set up a military checkpoint at the entrance to Ar-Ramadin, obstructing the movement of residents by turning back vehicles and preventing entry and exit from the town.

It is worth noting that the Israeli occupation authorities had delivered demolition notices to the owners of these facilities at the end of this month, but the latter were surprised by the implementation of the demolition decision this morning, ahead of the scheduled date.

These facilities are the Rabaa family's sole source of income in light of the current difficult living conditions.
