GAZA, August 17, 2025 (WAFA) – Four civilians were killed and others injured on Sunday in an Israeli airstrike targeting a tent sheltering displaced persons near Taiba towers west of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Earlier, three aid seekers were killed and others injured by Israeli gunfire north of Rafah, raising the death toll since early today to 21.
The death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 61,897, the majority of whom were women and children, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression in October 2023. At least 155,660 others have also been injured.
This toll remains incomplete, as many victims remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews.
