RAMALLAH, August 14, 2025 (WAFA) – The Republic of Iraq condemned, in the strongest terms possible, the statements issued by Israeli authorities regarding the so-called "Greater Israel Vision," which clearly reveal this entity's expansionist ambitions and confirm its efforts to destabilize the region.

The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the statements represent a blatant provocation against sovereignty and a flagrant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, calling for a clear and firm Arab and international stance to confront such policies.

The Ministry emphasized that these remarks comes in parallel with the ongoing occupation aggression against the Palestinian people.

It further affirmed  that these polices, coupled with a political discourse based on expansionism and annexation, require effective action to put an end to the occupation's violations and halt the policy of impunity.
