RAMALLAH, August 14, 2025 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) said that weather on Thursday will continue to be extremely hot and dusty at times. Temperatures will drop slightly, remaining 8-9 degrees Celsius above their annual average. Light to moderate northwesterly winds will prevail. Sea waves will be low to meduim.
In the evening and night hours, the weather will be warm in most areas and sometimes dusty. Light to moderate northwesterly winds will prevail. Sea waves will be meduim.
The weather forecast for Friday is that the weather will be hot to extremely hot, with a significant drop in temperatures and a gradual decline in the heat wave, although it will remain 4-5 degrees Celsius above its annual average. Moderate to brisk northwesterly winds will blow. Sea waves will be meduim.
Meanwhile on Saturday and Sunday, the weather will be relatively hot to hot, with a further significant drop in temperatures, but it will remain 2 degrees Celsius above its annual average. Light to moderate northwesterly winds will blow. Sea waves will be meduim.
The PMD warned citizens of the danger of prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, especially during peak hours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and of the risk of starting fires in areas with abundant dry grass.
It also warned citizens of the reduced horizontal visibility due to dust. It also warned those with respiratory and allergy problems about dust.
The PMD urged citizens to follow the instructions and guidelines issued by the Civil Defense, the Ministry of Agriculture, and all relevant authorities.
