RAMALLAH, August 11, 2025 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) said that the weather will remain very hot on Monday, with a slight rise in temperatures, reaching 7-8 degrees Celsius above their annual average. Winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, and the sea will be light.
In the evening and night hours, the weather will be warm in most areas. Winds will be northwesterly, light to moderate, and the sea will be light.
The very hot weather will continue on Tuesday, with a further rise in temperatures, reaching 8-9 degrees Celsius above their annual average. Winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, and the sea will be light.
On Wednesday, the weather will continue to be very hot, with temperatures rising to 9-10 degrees Celsius above their annual average. Winds will be northwesterly, light to moderate, and the sea will be light.
While on Thursday, the weather will remain extremely hot, with a slight drop in temperatures, remaining 8-9 degrees Celsius above their annual average. Light to moderate northwesterly winds will blow, and the sea will be light.
The PMD warned people of the danger of prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, especially during peak hours from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and of the risk of starting fires in areas with abundant dry grass, urging adherence to instructions issued by the Civil Defense Department.
