GAZA, August 1, 2025 (WAFA) – At least eight Palestinians were killed and dozens more injured early Friday as Israeli airstrikes continued to target multiple areas across the Gaza Strip.
Medical sources confirmed that four people were killed and others wounded when an Israeli drone strike hit tents sheltering displaced families in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis.
In central Gaza, another four civilians were killed and several injured in an airstrike that struck the city of Deir al-Balah.
Meanwhile, in Gaza City, Israeli forces bombed a building in the Al-Rimal neighborhood, causing additional casualties. More injuries were reported after a separate strike targeted a home near the Sheikh Radwan Cemetery.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 60,239 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 146,894 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
