RAMALLAH, July 30, 2025, WAFA - France as well as 14 other countries issued a collective call to recognize the State of Palestine and called on more countries to join.
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot said on Wednesday via X that "France and 14 other countries issued a collective call to recognize the State of Palestine, and we call on those who have not yet done so to join us."
Among the countries that announced their intention to recognize Palestine were 10 countries for the first time: France, Australia, Canada, Finland, New Zealand, Portugal, Andorra, Malta, San Marino, and Luxembourg.
Other countries that had previously recognized Palestine, such as Iceland, Ireland, Spain, Slovenia, and Norway, renewed their support for the call.
