HEBRON, July 28, 2025 (WAFA) – Two Palestinians were injured on Monday evening in an attack by Israeli colonists on the village of Umm al-Khair in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, according to a local activist.
Anti-colonial settlements activist Osama Makhamreh told WAFA that colonists attacked residents while they were on their lands and near their homes, opening fire and injuring one man with live bullets.
The injured man was taken to an unknown destination by the Israeli occupation forces.
Another resident was injured after being beaten by a colonist and was subsequently transferred by Palestine Red Crescent ambulance crews to Yatta Governmental Hospital.
Makhamreh condemned the colonists’ actions, committed under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, saying these attacks aim to seize Palestinian lands and expand illegal colonies in the villages and hamlets of southern Hebron.
