RAMALLAH, July 15, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists last night set fire to a vehicle yard in the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah.
The head of the Burqa village council, Sayel Kanaan, told WAFA by phone that colonists stormed the western side of the village and set fire to a vehicle yard belonging to citizen Mohammad Saber. He added that Israeli occupation forces stormed the area following the settlers' attack.
The village of Burqa has been subjected to repeated raids by colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, which include the firing of live ammunition at citizens and attacks on their property.
During the first half of this year, colonists carried out approximately 2,153 attacks, resulting in the martyrdom of four citizens at the hands of colonists. The attacks ranged from attacks on Palestinian villages and assaults on civilians, to setting fire to homes, shooting at citizens, establishing colonial outposts, seizing control of citizens' lands, assaulting streets and vehicles, and launching organized and dangerous attacks, such as what happened in the villages of Kafr Malik, Al-Mughayyir, Beita, Sinjil, and others.
