GAZA, July 13, 2025 (WAFA) – At least 11 civilians were killed and several others were injured on Sunday in a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting various areas across the Gaza Strip.

According to medical sources, five people were killed after an Israeli drone targeted a group of civilians in the town of Az-Zawaida in central Gaza. A civilian was also killed in an airstrike on the Zeitoun neighborhood in southeastern Gaza City.

In another deadly attack, five members of the same family, including children, were killed after an Israeli airstrike hit a tent sheltering displaced persons in the al-Mawasi area of al-Qarara town, northwest of Khan Yunis. The victims were identified as journalist Hussam Saleh al-Adlouni, his wife, and their three children.

Medical sources reported more casualties, including fatalities and injuries, in an Israeli strike that targeted the clinic street in the al-Hassan al-Banna area of the al-Zeitoun neighborhood. The final toll from that attack is not yet known.

Hospitals in Gaza reported that the number of Palestinians killed since dawn Sunday has risen to 85, including 46 in Gaza City alone, as a result of intense Israeli bombardment targeting homes and shelters for displaced civilians.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza stated that the total death toll since October 7, 2023, has climbed to 58,026, with 138,520 injured.

The ministry also noted that many victims remain trapped under rubble or scattered on the streets, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews due to the relentless Israeli shelling and the massive amount of debris.
