GAZA, June 24, 2025 (WAFA) – At least 51 Palestinians were killed and dozens more wounded across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, as Israeli forces intensified their attacks on densely populated areas and aid distribution points.
Medical sources at Al-Ahli Arab (Baptist) Hospital confirmed that 10 civilians were killed in an Israeli shelling on a residential home in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.
Meanwhile, three people were shot dead and many others injured as Israeli forces opened fire on gatherings waiting for humanitarian aid north of Rafah.
Another civilian was killed, and several others injured, in Israeli artillery shelling of the Al-Shuja’iya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City. Additionally, Israeli drones opened fire northeast of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
According to medical officials, today's fatalities raise the total death toll in Gaza since early morning to 51, including 32 individuals killed while waiting for food and aid.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel’s aggression on Gaza has killed at least 55,998 Palestinians, the majority of them women and children, and injured over 131,559 others. Thousands remain trapped under rubble or in areas inaccessible to rescue teams due to ongoing bombardment.
