JERICHO, June 23, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists held a provocative gathering on Monday morning near the Arab al-Ka’abneh Basic School in the al-Muarrajat area, northwest of Jericho, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
According to Hassan Mleihat, general coordinator of the Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, dozens of colonists stormed the area before dawn, playing loud music and using megaphones to chant religious slogans, in what he described as a deliberate provocation to intimidate local residents.
Such actions are part of a broader pattern of colonist violence and harassment across the occupied West Bank, often carried out with the support or passive presence of Israeli military forces.
