GAZA, June 20, 2025 (WAFA) – At least 34 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured in two separate Israeli massacres early Friday in the central Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.
The first massacre occurred near the Al-Shuhada Junction north of the Nuseirat refugee camp, where crowds had gathered awaiting humanitarian aid, only to be met with gunfire and shelling by the Israeli occupation army.
Al-Awda Hospital reported receiving the bodies of 23 victims, along with dozens of wounded individuals, many of them in critical condition, following the deadly Israeli attack.
In a separate attack, Israeli forces bombed a home in the Al-Ma’asara area west of Deir al-Balah, also in central Gaza. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society confirmed that 11 people were killed in that strike, with others injured. The casualties were transported to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 55,706 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 130,101 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
