RAMALLAH, May 29, 2025 (WAFA) — A 12-year-old Palestinian boy was shot and injured by Israeli occupation forces on Thursday evening during a military raid on the town of Birzeit, north of Ramallah.

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, its emergency teams treated the child, who sustained gunshot wounds to both legs.

The incident occurred as Israeli troops stormed the town, prompting confrontations with local residents. The child was later transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition was reported as stable.

The Red Crescent also reported evacuating a 53-year-old man to the hospital after he was physically assaulted by Israeli troops during the raid.
