RAMALLAH, May 7, 2025 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) says that the weather on Wednesday will be partly cloudy to clear, relatively hot in the mountainous regions and hot in the rest of the country. Temperatures will rise further, with northwesterly winds of light to moderate speed. Sea waves will be light to moderate.

In the evening and night hours, the weather will be partly cloudy and relatively cold in the mountainous regions and pleasant in the rest of the country. The winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate speed, and the sea will be light to moderate.

On Thursday, a hot and dry air mass will affect the country, causing the weather to be hot and dry in most areas. Temperatures will rise further, becoming approximately 5 degrees Celsius above their annual average. The winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate speed, sometimes active.

While on Friday, the weather will be hot to very hot and dry in most areas. Temperatures will rise further, reaching approximately 7°C above their annual average. Winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate in speed, sometimes active. S

On Saturday, the weather will be hot to very hot and dry in most areas. Temperatures will remain approximately 7°C above their annual average. Winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate in speed, sometimes active. 

The Meteorological Department has warned citizens during the heat wave affecting the country starting next Thursday against direct exposure to the sun for extended periods, especially during peak hours, and against lighting fires in areas with abundant dry grass.
